What is important to remember to bring to the test? Can you use a calculator on this test and do you have an opinion about the math department’s decision about this? Do you have any test taking tips you would be willing to share? Don’t forget to write what was assigned in class.

It is important to bring your notes to class for the test because you are allowed to use them. You cannot use a calculator on the test. I believe this is a very wise decision because it pushes us to do the work ourselves and to not rely on something else to do it for us. A tip that I would recommend doing is if you get stuck on a problem, move on and come back to it later. This will give your mind a chance to relax so that the problem is easier the second time around. The assignment for tonight was page 53, 5-31 odds and 35-40 all.
